I watched the documentary “Three Identical Strangers” on Netflix (photo above is from the film).
Triplets were separated at birth by a shady adoption agency and apparently reunited by coincidence at age 19.
One of the brothers grew up in a low-income household, the other in middle-class and the third brother in upper class.
The three brothers bonded immediately, becoming lifelong friends. They went on to become TV celebrities.
Then one day, a scientist did a little digging and discovered the three had been part of a secret experiment. Their entire life had been an experiment they’d been under secret observation since childhood.
Perhaps under the weight of these revelations, one of the brothers – Eddy -commit suicide.
The documentary purports to be about triplets, but I believe it’s actually about clones. As much as the film reveals about unethical human experimentation, it conceals an even worse crime.
The clone-theory derives from a critical viewing of the documentary. The one who commit suicide – Eddy – was the original from which the brothers were cloned, in my opinion. Here’s why:
* Eddy was revealed to “be more emotional” than his brothers, wanting to keep the family together, whereas the others seemed not to care. Flattened emotions could be evidence of cloning.
* The three looked and acted identical, which cannot be said of normal twins and triplets who often show differences in looks and personality. One can tell them apart. The three brothers on the other hand, were almost impossible to tell apart even though they had grown up in very different circumstances.
* One of the people involved with the scientist who did the experiments, was interviewed. She showed off photos with what she called her friends: Hillary Clinton, Michelle Obama, Al Gore, etc. She introduced herself as only an insignificant office assistant who had no part in the experiments.
If she was insignificant, how did she come to be friends with these politicians? This “assistant” continued to lie. She said “Back in those days, such experiments were seen as good” (never in History has anyone thought secret human experimentation is good) or “all such experimentation has ended today” (how would she know?). The lies and connections to power-politics reveal something deeper going on than a mere hiccup by an adoption agency.
* The film reveals that scientists periodically showed up at the children’s houses to film and ask the children questions. Throughout the decades, they apparently kept the parents and the kids in the dark about the siblings. Such intense study points toward a deeper agenda.
* Yale University has sealed the documents of this experiment and allows neither public nor private access. If it is what they say it is, then why keep the papers sealed and secret?
Here’s what I think happened:
As the truth inadvertently slipped out, someone did damage control by making this documentary. The documentary reveals that our scientists are involved in dark stuff but hides just how dark.
